At left, all of the arrestee's personal property has been collected, inventoried and packed to a guardian sheet. The property is trapped between layers of plastic and paper that have been bonded together.

At right, a returned sheet has been torn open, destroying the signature.

Below, a wallet has been released by cutting the plastic around the piece. Because the plastic is bonded to the paper across the entire face, the integrity of the rest of the package is not compromised.
